About

A little about me and my journey to here.

I was born into a healing lineage. My parents, Dr. Isabelle Moser and Dr. Douglass Moser, were pioneers in holistic health. In 1974, they transformed the original Holt Adoption Agency building in Creswell, Oregon into the Great Oaks School of Health. There, they supported both resident fasters and non-resident clients in returning to vibrant health—years ahead of the mainstream wellness movement. Their work centered on nutrition, movement, education, spiritual practice, and community. It was a rich environment—no sugar, no TV, but plenty of singing, nature, food preparation, animals, spiritual exploration, and love. My sister Prairie and I were homeschooled by our mother, a former nurse who later earned her PhD in Psychology and Gerontology, specializing in Orthomolecular Treatment of Mental Disorders. My father, a PhD in Anthropology, brought the wisdom of cultures and traditions into our daily life. Healing wasn’t just something we did—it was who we were.

After graduating and a year in Brazil, I entered what I call my “trying to be normal” phase. I spent 14 years in Napa Valley, working first in the wine industry, then owning and running an upscale cocktail lounge. But my soul kept tugging me home—to the truth of who I am. I returned to Oregon to align my life with purpose. That’s when I began training in energy healing with Dr. Mosher, a non-force chiropractor whose intuitive and gentle work awakened my own gifts. He introduced me to B.E.A.M.—a modality for reading energy blockages and patterns—and helped me trust my clairsentient nature: my ability to feel what others are experiencing, and receive information through energetic shifts.

I later attended Lane Community College’s massage program and went on to teach bodywork there. Over time, more of my innate gifts emerged. I continue to study, to listen, and to expand my understanding. What I know is this: I love to do energywork and bodywork. I came to healing because I needed healing. And between my upbringing, my training, and my personal journey, I now walk a path that is both a calling and a joy.

In 2014, I moved to Illinois on a personal path of growth and transformation. Wilmette, with its proximity to Lake Michigan, feels like my soul’s home. I love the work I do. I’m deeply grateful to my family, my teachers, my clients, my guides—seen and unseen. Every day, I wake in gratitude for the opportunity to support others on their healing journeys.

When I’m not offering healing sessions or teaching, I’m immersed in my other love: photography. I’ve been capturing the world through my lens for over 25 years, and you can see my work at www.saylemoser.com. It is a large website so it takes a minute to load, have patience please.
